In she walked
With steps of awe
Beauty struck by all she saw
A sacred step
Another look
Glorifying the ever sacred book
Her clothes were black
Her eyes were round
The head that always had seen the ground
Now looked up
And saw the sight
Saw St. Peter in the light
Left her stick
Upon the ground
To kiss the feet while all around
They waited
T'was like directing a flowing stream
When that old woman fulfilled her dream
